*items do not need to be sailing or nautical in nature.

The Club will be auctioning off the Naming Rights for the club’s newly acquired boat in the fleet – Rhoads 22!
All proceeds will go to support the CRSA Youth Sailing Academy

Please join the CRSA at The Elkhorn Tavern, 1200 Manchester Street, Lexington, Thursday, February 20 at 1800 hours for a mildly exciting presentation of the May 2019 CRSA cruise in the Greek Islands. 2019 Cruise Director Dan Geiger and 2020 Cruise Director Merritt Wade will discuss their experiences in Greece accompanied by a slide show.

Sailing the BVIs with the Askrens: Chartering Boats in Paradise
The British Virgin Islands have long served as a boating mecca for sailors from around the world. Over the years, many CRSAers have been drawn to the turquoise waters, white sand beaches and near-perfect trade winds of the Caribbean.
Valerie and Ben Askren will provide a colorful travelogue, complete with slides, maps and travel advice. CRSA members may share their expertise and experiences of sailing in the paradise known as the BVIs.

2019 Summer Solstice Overnight Raft-Up – 06/22/19
Enjoy the Longest Day On the Water – All Night Long. THE SUMMER SOLSTICE.
After the club races, in the mooring field, Join us to an overnight raft-up based at the clubs’ pontoon boat.
Bring a side dish to pass, club will provide the meat, (likely burgers and dogs) soda, water, utensils, plates and napkins.
Breakfast served the following morning.
Please come, eat and enjoy the longest day of the year, and stay over night. Saturday, June 22, 2019 4:00 PM thru Sunday, June 23, 2019

When: Saturday and Sunday 9/22, 23/18 There will be a full moon.
What: Cruise, sail, race until 5pm, then raft up for happy hour and appetizers.
Enjoy the evening, stay overnight rafted up or break apart and anchor out.
Or head back to the marina.
Bring: An appetizer to share, evening meal, and breakfast. Knowledge of the
universe to share.
